Manufacture in UK and sale in US helped the post war economy

Main plant from the outset at St Louis 1945 Opened the Chicago plant 1947 Keynote West Coast plant sold to Mercury by John Hammomd 1948 They purchase the defunct Majestic label and its factory In 1948 they close the Chicago plant 1949 they talk about going over to Mercoplastic at all three factories St Louis, Los Angeles and Philipsburg NJ 1949 They sell presses to Al Siegel who stars production in Canada 1950 All three plants tooling up for 45rpm production

Talking about Global Dog recently brings it home to you how even 45cat will disappear in the future..nothing lasts forever Suddenly you realise its pointless providing links to sites that probably won't be there in a few years
