© Simon House, inc., New York; 20Jun52; EP64017
Probably from 1952. This might be the same Bill Roberts that recorded with Vaughn Monroe (Decca 28423, ca. 1952)
LaurenceD SUBS 19th Jan 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumPaul Simon - The Paul Simon Song Book | Added labels which differ slightly around the ℗ 1965. My cover is the same as that of Ade Macrow, but it's probably not a very early pressing. It has the same "Sounds of the 70s" inner sleeve as the one shown here with the Bridge Over Troubled Water LP.
LaurenceD SUBS 16th Jan 2017 | | 78 RPMDave Brubeck Trio - Laura / Indiana | djhotwax, I merged your entry with this existing one. The labels on yours are a bit different, however, so it's good to have those as well.
LaurenceD SUBS 11th Jan 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumBee Gees - Gotta Get A Message To You | Two tracks on this collection warrant a mention:
- "One Million Years" is a stereo remix with a different lead vocal track.
- "It Doesn't Matter Much To Me" is not the B-side recording, but a different version that was intended for the Kick In The Head LP.
More info here.

LaurenceD SUBS 1st Jan 2017 | | 78 RPMEl Brendel - Yumpin' Yiminy / Pinch Of Snoose | Listening to Yumpin' Yiminy brought back a vague childhood memory of having seen El Brendel's Swedish persona, although I'm not sure if it was from a film or a later TV appearance.
There's some information about these recordings here at this excellent site dedicated to this comedian.

LaurenceD SUBS 7th Dec 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumSam Hinton - The Wandering Folksong | Mono recording.
The listing on the back cover has tracks B8 and B9 in reverse order. The enclosed booklet has them in the correct order.
I'm not sure about the release date. Both http://folkways.si.edu and http://samhinton.org list this as a 1966 release. But the back cover shows © 1967 ...

LaurenceD SUBS 5th Nov 2016 | | 78 RPMQuatuor "In Cimbalis Bene Sonantibus" - Largo (1re Partie) / Largo (2e Partie) | Ah, I see what you did there, xiphophilos - yes, that makes more sense. That is an unusual name that they chose for themselves.
LaurenceD SUBS 5th Nov 2016 | | 78 RPMQuatuor "In Cimbalis Bene Sonantibus" - Largo (1re Partie) / Largo (2e Partie) | Speculating here, but Haydn did compose a number of choral works based on psalms, and the title "In Cimbalis Bene Sonantibus" would seem to come from psalm 150:5. That would explain this work being released on a label for sacred music, although it's been arranged for string quartet.
Can't confirm this theory though, as I'm not aware that he composed music for that particular psalm. I've got a catalogue of his compositions somewhere, I'll have another look.
LaurenceD SUBS 18th Oct 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Atco Sales Meeting | All of the tracks are selections from the listed albums except for the one by Iron Butterfly, which is not from their "Live" LP (SD 33-318), but is instead a stereo mix of the A-side from the subsequently released single.
LaurenceD SUBS 18th Oct 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Original Soundtrack Recording Of Catch My Soul | HIDEKI WATANABE, I merged your entry of this LP with the earlier one submitted by Twistin, added the missing tracks, and kept all of your images.

I'm presuming that this is a USA release, as I could find no information about the artists or label.
LaurenceD SUBS 27th Sep 2016 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Roadie | This distillation of the 16-track release was obviously trying to de-emphasize the country aspect of the soundtrack, omitting tracks by Joe Ely, Eddie Rabbitt, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hank Williams Jr. and Asleep At The Wheel.
