The original ad for the gig only listed the two bands above (I can't seem to locate the cutting, it may be lost now). Obviously other bands were playing which the venue did list, The Little Roosters being replaced by Squire.

It was late coming out and with the label issues wasn't around for too long either. The date you give seems a lot closer, as I got the Art For All comp (Whaam! BIG 8) in the Summer. I haven't had a dive into my scrapbooks and modzines looking for this as I didn't notice this 1985 date until yesterday.
OldMod67 15th Apr 2023		Vinyl Album Television Personalities - The Painted Word	I don't have any press releases or flyers, but I'm pretty sure the release date here is a little late. I am convinced I bought it in 1984 (great year for albums, for me anyway!). I saw it at my local Our Price and indie (Armadillo) and purchased it at one or the other (Armadillo I think). I haven't submitted a request to change in case a member has more than their memory to rely on.

Commentary by Ted White Contains all 35 adaptations (both unofficial and authorised), grouped by source material, not chronological. Chapters also include Ray and the Pulps, Ray and Readers Write and (by Ben Saunders) Love and Theft, about the original unauthorised use of Bradbury's work and Artist Biographies.
