Mottram, by courtesy of Christopher Wood Gallery, London/Bridgeman Art Gallery' This is an 1857 hand coloured engraving, the cover actually showing a reverse of the original image. A nice gloss finish here making a fantastic cover for what was a £1 classic!

OldMod67 18th Nov 2022		CD Album Ohio Players - Observations In Time	Original album produced by Johnny Brantley. Track 7 appears to be an edit, by accident or design, missing the intro (approx eight seconds). Track 11 is not correct. Although listed on the sleeve, insert and label as Street Party, the song that plays is a repeat of track 5, Find Someone To Love.. Track 12 sounds completely different, obviously a much later recording. I know their sound changed a lot, but I wondered if this was an error. The insert also credits the band writing this, instead of Gold, Denne. Note: insert states album first released on Capitol Records in 1968. I listed 1969 in the notes as although the original sleeve note was dated '68, I've previously read it was issued in '69. Obviously someone correct if I'm in error here. Note: reverse of insert (image added) features original LP notes, albeit incredibly small.
OldMod67 29th Oct 2022		CD Album The Beatles - Revolver	I watched the Parlogram unboxing of the vinyl (review to follow!) but won't pay out for stuff I just don't fancy. I don't give a hoot for this fad of new remixes of already classic records. All I want is the sessions, surely that's the draw for fans? The Beatles mono LPs as separate releases would certainly be welcome by many, without having to buy box sets. It is the music BUSINESS after all, but the legacy of Beach Boys, Who, Kinks has been treated a lot better.

This copy (not in the slipcase) measures 190mm x 129mm and has 313pp plus blanks and a page of publisher contacts. If a member has a finished copy, please still submit an image, which can replace the current main picture, thanks.
