Paul-Hughes 28th Oct 2017		78 RPM The Copock Four - Let's Do It / The Lady Is A Tramp	Private recording made at the Personal Recording Department at HMV gramophone store 363 Oxford Street, London, and featuring Doreen on piano, Ronnie on tenor banjo, Willy on tenor sax, and Tom on trumpet. The drummer isn't credited so is presumably a studio drummer. Nice amateur racket played with abandon. The acetate disc has almost no surface noise and is LOUD! HMV still has a record store at this address today!

Gendèr Wajang	This record is one of a set contains recordings from Japan, China, Java, Bali, Siam (Thailand), India, Persia (Iran), Egypt and Tunis and was compiled by Erich von Hornbostel in 1931 from his collection of wax cylinders brought back from the orient by travelers interested in recording indigenous music. These were originally released in Europe on the Odeon label and in Great Britain on Parlophone. Also released on Decca records in the U.S. around 1939.
