PaythePiper SUBS 12th May 2019		Reel-to-Reel Johnny Rivers - Realization	Added this Reel- T Reel - Multifaceted artist Johnny Rivers did not want to be known as a Whiskey A Go Go artist forever so his ability to adapt to the times was reflected in this musical venture. Showed his resourceful musical ability fairly quick before the opportunity passed him by during the few years of psychedelic/ or in this case more Flower Power movement. In later years he would again show another one of his many abilities as a music producer as well.

PaythePiper SUBS 28th Mar 2019		Vinyl Album Bread - The Best Of Bread	Amazing that by the end of 1972 they were already making The Best of Bread, goes to show how early 70's they really were 1970 and 1971. Time flies, I loved them as I was 11 -12 when they were big. Imagine!

At the time all of us 60's lovers came down hard on the 80's, we thought them nothing but Techie music. But man, we'd give anything for the pop talent of the 80's today. Although Steve made much of his mark in the late 70's.

PaythePiper SUBS 26th Mar 2019		CD Single New Order - Regret (7 Inch Version)	Review Although they did have other good hits, I never was able to like any as much as Regret. Living in the US I remember mentioning to others how european the video was but of course with all those outside monuments shots and the walking about bustling typical of european big cities, what else. Tom Chapman setting up his drums made it that much real, and Gillian’s shy away smirk as the camera close up was way too cute. The powerful melodic punch the song manages to develop seemed to give out hopes that good pop songs could be made again even in the 90’s. And just maybe music capabilities could survive the next decade and beyond, but that was not to be. Now I never deciphered why the cover sleeve looked like a Marlboro advertisement. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
PaythePiper SUBS 25th Mar 2019		CD Album Various Artists - Psychedelia	Tomorrow's Strawberry FF came out very similar to The Beatles original, but enjoyed another group attempting their own version. They tweaked nicely at the end. Three Jolly little Dwarfs is very original.
PaythePiper SUBS 25th Mar 2019		Book Paul W. Kahn - Out Of Eden	This is not a religious book. It’s more of a sociology book. A very difficult book with a complex topic to understand. The author writes how evil is not an entity itself out there. Evil is an intrinsic characteristic in human nature affecting everyday life, relationships that can translate into all aspects of society deceitfulness, deceptions, slavery, crimes, wars, dishonest political negotiations and the like.

PaythePiper SUBS 23rd Mar 2019		DVD Match Point - DreamWorks	Review Woody's Curve Ball. He had Dostoevsky's Crime And Punishment in his mind at the time (although not just this time), the gnawing eating pain of guilt paired with an obsession he was having with the Theme of Luck, and how it can change outcome in an instant. Depending on how the wind blows you may get away with just about anything. He had Scarlett Johansson as his muse at the time and nothing but one of his most superb thrillers came out as a result. I just thought the band's name was so cool and the songs so reminiscent of back in the day good pop rock. So I had my Toad phase for sure.

Beautiful Billy Joel Style ballad.

Those you would find on magazines Buy 10 for a couple of bucks? Then they had you hooked. And were they available at the same time as the original pressings or were they later pressings of later years?

A couple who hits all the disturbances notes of married life in a hilarious way and without children involved is what made this show. Kevin James one of the best underdog comedian players in the industry. He transferred pretty decently into the movies big screen specially when "Hitch" is taken into account.

This is possibly one of the best Music DVD acoustic presentation of his in Switzerland in 1980 accompanied by Wagner Tiso on piano. Wonderful repertoire at the top of his career.

PaythePiper SUBS 20th Mar 2019		Reel-to-Reel Carly Simon - Anticipation	They were almost double the price of an Album, an album being 3.78 almost 4 dollars a Reel Reel was around 7.40 something in the 60's. Few had the money to indulge, but man, was their sound so much robust and powerful.
