Until a week ago, I wasn't aware that these copies were different. And because of you remark on "Zémeo" in the Yugoslavian pressing, I noticed that label variations B and C name track B1 "Zémio" and on label R it is "Zémeo". On all US-covers it is named "Zémio"

The second 2 a little R printed left of the A&M logo. Probably indicating that they are pressed in different factories.

The yellow testpressing is from Indiana and is pressed on Quiex II Vinyl and is translucent when you hold it up to a light. The second tespressing is from Indianapolis and is pressed on normal black vinyl.

Also added scans of the cover and labels of a Promo copy. On the labels is a little B printed left of the A&M logo. This promo is pressed on Quiex II Vinyl and is translucent when you hold it up to a light.
Plaatjesman 15th Oct 2013		Vinyl Album Joe Jackson - Night And Day	My copy of this Canadian Night and Day release didn't come in a gatefold sleeve (fold-out cover), but with an inner sleeve. Judging by the design of the labels, this seems to be a later (and cheaper) reissue.

Always nice to spot the differences. They forgot the (!) in 'Look Sharp!' in the track-listing, both on the back cover as on the label. But also in the record title on both sides of the label. And they invented a new song title: ' Is She Really Going Out With You '

But, as 'Bobzyeruncle' remarks do make sense (this 'Canadian' promo-label looks more like the USA SP 4743 stock label than the common USA promo-label), I did some research on the matrix numbers in the run-off groove area of both countries. This 'Canadian' promo label has "A&M SP5223 (RE-2)-P2" on side 1 and "A&M SP5224 (RE-2)-P1" on side 2. The Canadian stock copies have "SP 4743-A", "SP 5223" and "tlc" scattered on side 1 and "SP 4743-B", "SP 5224" and "tlc" in a very short run-off groove area on side 2. Also the word "para" can be found on either side. All my USA copies (as well as stock-, promo- and test-pressing) have some sort of "A&M SP5223 (RE-2)" on side 1 and "A&M SP5224 (RE-2)" on side 2. Usually with extra codes added to it like "-M1" (common USA promo white label), "-M3" (USA test pressings) or "-RC2" on my stock copy. So, 'Bobzyeruncle' is probably right and these White Label Promo scans should be transferred to the USA pressing That leaves my question, why so many different Test- and Promo-pressings? And what would be the oldest pressing?

The stock labels have a (6) below 'The Joe Jackson Band', where the promo label have a (5). Anybody a suggestion what this means?

Plaatjesman 9th Oct 2013		Vinyl Album Joe Jackson - I'm The Man	Added the label variation of the mispressed copy (where side 2 plays side 2 of Joe Jackson's 1981 record "Jumpin' Jive") This mispressed copy has the same cover as the original 1979 issue, but it came with no insert. The labels have a slight variation. A little 'B' is printed left of the A&M logo on the bottom of the label. I think this 'B' indicates the recordplant where this record has been pressed. The matrix numbers in the run-off groove area will not indicate a mispressing. The matrix numbers are "A&M SP04794A ES-1" and "AM SP04794 B ES2", where I would have expected a Jumpin' Jive US record number SP04871 on the B-side. Oh, and side 2 has 6 tracks!
