Problem Child 3rd Nov 2020		CD Single Plastic Mermaids - Dromtorp	Info and Images added for CD of the Isle of Wight band's first release. This is a strictly limited edition Promotional version that was not for resale. Release date is of the official release. Thanks to Joanne Thornton for kindly supplying images. Problem Child 23rd Jun 2020		12" Single Coach Party - Party Food	Info and images added for debut release for Isle of Wight band. Release was scheduled for Wednesday 10th June, but moved to Friday 12th. These are the best images I can manage for the present, I've tried but others weren't as good... Limited to 220 copies. Two week after release it is sold out and reportedly going on eBay for £50!
Problem Child 14th Jun 2020		12" Single Slade - Six Of The Best	I have this down as being released on 13th June... Not sure where I got that from now, maybe 'New Singles'/Music Week. But I probably got it the week it was released, though I do think there was a delay in it arriving in the shop. Mine still has the 'Our Price Records' (Tottenham Court Road) sticker on it, for £1.39P.

Problem Child 12th Mar 2020		Vinyl Album Plastic Mermaids - Suddenly Everyone Explodes	Info added. Isle of Wight Band, consisting of brothers Jamie and Douglas Richards, Tom Farren, Chris Newnham and Chris Jones who play a variety of instruments, though guitar, piano, bass and drums play a main part. All tracks mixed by Jamie Richards and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road. Sunday Best record label was set up by DJ Rob Da Bank.

Problem Child 13th Feb 2020		Vinyl Album The Electric Prunes - I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night	Just to add some more details as my copy, which I bought around the mid 80's, is a little different. The 'LC 0332', next to the Reprise logo has been reduced in size and moved to just above the '33' symbol at the bottom of the label and replaces the '30,649' which has disappeared. The GEMA logo box has now has Biem added. In the run-off groove the matrix reads on Side 1 as:- R/S Alsdorf 24033 A X RME Side 2;- R/S Alsdorf 24033 B2 D Mine has just a plain white inner sleeve. There was an 'Import' sticker on the sleeve. Looks like it's from an 'Our Price' record shop?! The sleeve is the same as featured here, though it may be worth pointing out that there is an embossed 'W' slightly left and below the 'LC 0322' on the rear bottom corner.

I never had the sleeve with this record, hence its non-appearance. So far... am I really the only person who owns this?! (See US version for sleeve, I think it was near enough the same)
Problem Child 16th Dec 2019		Vinyl Album The Rolling Stones - Still Life (American Concert 1981)	Thanks Lee W., I'll have a go in a day or two. Just a mention about the release date here, the 28th was a Friday, the 1st June a Tuesday! Pretty sure I bought it on day of release, which is why I wrote the 28th on it, to ensure I got the picture disc version.(can't find my 1982 diary...)
Problem Child 15th Dec 2019		Vinyl Album The Rolling Stones - Still Life (American Concert 1981)	Just noticed that there is no mention of the Picture Disc version of this. Maybe it needs its own entry? It has the same cat. number but with a 'P' after 'CUN'. The run-off groove also has 'ORLAKE' etched into it. Can someone please advise if I need to make a separate entry for this, which I think it does. I'll also try to take a picture of it. I also have a release date, written at the time of 28th May on my sleeve, which is probably when I bought it - I'll have to check my diary! btw, it reached No. 4 in the LP charts.
Problem Child 15th Dec 2019		Vinyl Album The Searchers - Sugar And Spice	The 16th October was a Wednesday? The lead single was released two days later on the 18th, a Friday. This didn't enter the LP charts until the 16th November - a month to reach the charts, given that they were rising stars at that point? Though it should be pointed out that their first LP was still in the charts at the time of this release.

Problem Child 3rd Dec 2019		78 RPM Yves Montand - Sensationnel / Dis-Moi Jo	Record info and label images uploaded. This has a 'DT' (1942) purchase code stamp pressed into the label but there is also the letter 'P' (?) added below the 'T'..
Problem Child 3rd Dec 2019		78 RPM Victor Silvester And His Ballroom Orchestra - The Love Nest / Somebody Cares About You	Record info and label images uploaded. This record has 'DT' purchase tax code (1942) pressed to the left of the center hole and a 'TT' tax code stamp (1943).
Problem Child 25th Nov 2019		Vinyl Album Sheila - Toujours Des Beaux Jours	Info and label images added. Usually at the end of each year a compilation 12 track LP of Sheila's 3 EP's released during that year was released. Quite often titled after one or two of the hits contained or numbered. This mini 10'' LP, 'No.3', slightly unusual, features tracks from just two EP's, one from October '64 and the other from March '65. It may have been released during the summer as the standard format was returned to at the end of '65.
Problem Child 12th Nov 2019		CD Album Angelina - Last Cigarette	CD info and scans uploaded. Isle of Wight based artist who for many years has toured and released many CD's with her brother JC doing a variety of styles mainly based around blues, folk and jazz. This her second album, her first; 'Vagabond Saint' released in December 2016, was also on vinyl. This takes her more in a direction of course indie blues rock. Currently featured in a 6 page interview in 'Hi-Fi magazine, this CD was reviewed in a number of music magazines. The album was premiered with an appearance at Rough Trade East in London the day after it's release. JC & Angelina recently back Phil May and Dick Taylor as the Pretty Things at the 50 anniversary of the 1969 Isle of Wight festival gig - not the first time they have joined them onstage.

Problem Child 9th Nov 2019		Vinyl Album Stray Cats - 40	My copy came with a 'Made in Canada' sticker on the back and is in blue with pink splatter vinyl, and a Poster + Download card. I think this is a standard US version. I also see that some record stores seem to have produced a clear vinyl with red splatter effect version and another colour version. The sleeve rear is almost the same as above, but without the printed bar code and only the one logo of 'Surfdog' not all three under the management info. It's also got a different cat/bar code number.

This record is in near new condition, I no longer want it, so if anyone is interested please pm me asap as it will soon go to the charity shop!

Problem Child 8th Oct 2019		CD Album The Beatles - The U.S. Albums	Well, that's strange! A good mate of mine sent me this from the US about 4-5 years ago. But it hasn't got the same 'Box Back Cover' and 'Box Bottom' as loaded by nicoldo64, but has the front cover pic' also on the back and a completely plain blue bottom. Contents are the same - with each LP in a clear plastic re-sealable sleeve. Is mine a different version of some sorts?

Problem Child 16th Apr 2019		Vinyl Album Françoise Hardy - Personne D'Autre	Info added, scans to follow one day! This is probably her best LP in a while and reached the top of the French charts, so I understand, and well deserved too! Comes with inner sleeve with lyrics and info.
