Problem Child 15th Jan 2016		Vinyl Album Ramones - Ramones	Re-issued today, 15th Jan' by Rhino. Good copy/reproduction of sleeve and inner sleeve. On Sire label, but with slight differences to layout and record numbers, will try a scan when I've next got my scanner set up. I'm wondering if the re-issue should have separate entry? Anyone like to advise? Does anyone know the actual release date for the UK LP. ?
Problem Child 12th Jan 2016		Vinyl Album David Bowie - ★ (Blackstar)	In the US a limited edition of 5000 of this has been pressed up in clear vinyl. My mate was going to get me one but the shop had only got one copy in when he went on Friday. He ordered one for me but that was on Friday, things changed somewhat over the next 3 days, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed he can still get one. Problems with my PC at the moment, will try photos to get images added when sorted.

Regarding the plastic inner sleeve... I hope they've been reading the various comments regarding that on this site! It's thick as in brittle, I'll chance it. I will try a scan, as it's not up there with the other Stereo copies.

Problem Child 24th Nov 2015		Book Top Pop Scene - Takes The Lid Off Pop	Top Pop Scene book images added. 58 pages mostly in B&W. Any parent buying this as stocking filler for their Top 20 pop loving child in Xmas '72 would have done well to have a close look inside first... it is mostly album orientated singer/songwriter & rock acts that feature. Many would have not been familiar to someone who was into Donny O or David C. Apart from the above others here include Mountain, Fanny, Rory Gallagher, Mott The Hoople, Deep Purple, Slade, Lindisfarne and Led Zeppelin. Others include, Cat Stevens, Carole King, Mary Hopkin, Leon Russell, Gilbert O'Sullivan and Elton John.
Problem Child 23rd Nov 2015		Book Peter Doggett - The Beatles	The Beatles 'Summer of 1968' Book images added. I bought this about 15 years ago (one time I didn't write the date in...) There's no Publisher listed, there's also no Publication date and no Author listed either. As can be seen there is text giving a view of their career and account of 1968 in general. The photos were taken during a break of the 'White Album' sessions on Sunday 28th July. Copyright is by 'Tracks'. As can be seen from photos 2 and 3, these resulted in the shot spread across the inside of the 1962-1966 & 1967-1970 Red and Blue albums, which was taken in a park near Kings Cross St. Pancras, I believe - I do have details but but not to hand. I think this is great collection of photos by the photographers which was an idea to get some new pix of the group. It's only 62 pages with a hand-full of colour shots, but they really show a side to the group which lets you into their world. But the great quality of the informal photos gives the feel of a contemporary group.

I got this for Xmas 1968, I haven't got round to colouring it in yet but most of the press-outs are missing. I think I may have taken the submarine in the bath... I was quite young!
Problem Child 17th Nov 2015		Book Tony Jasper - 20 Years Of The British Record Charts 1955-1975	Again, sorry my fault re-wrong date. I saw the date I bought it that I had written on inside and mistook the '6' for a '5'. But can't be sure how long it had been on sale for by the time I got it.

It says at the end of the text that a next edition is planned, but I don't remember seeing it. Somehow this comment is linked to the blue cover edition, but not connected to it.

I've just looked at my copy again and in my quickly written handwriting I now see that I bought it on the 19th November 1976... not '75. Sorry for the miss-information. (that's why I always wrote the dates on anything I bought ...!)
Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book Daniel Ichbiah - Jean-Louis Aubert	Images added of the Biography of the singer of top French rock group Telephone. Mostly colour photos, 300 pages in total. A look back at his life and travels/ escapades across America before he came back to Paris in the mid 70s and formed the band and their rise to fame and recordings, with contributions from other band members. It continues with his solo career to date.

Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book Tony Jasper - 20 Years Of The British Record Charts 1955-1975	Images up-loaded of the first book of the UK top 20 charts. 208 pages give the top 20 data each week until the book was ready to go to print in October '75. 3 inside page images above give an idea of the books contents. This was an amazing book for me with all the info it contained and the way it was laid out. I impressed/bored everyone I knew with the fact I could recite a top 20 from any given year... happy daze. I have an idea that a 2nd Edition appeared in about 1978, which I didn't buy but the next one from 1984 and is the 2nd Edition.
Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book The Q Book Of Punk Legends - [none]	Images up-loaded of the 192 page paperback of a 20 year perspective detailed date laden story of 26 of the main players in the first punk groups. Though there seems to be a US influence here, mid 60s group The Kingsmen's story is followed by the MC5.. Still a useful insight to groups' formations.
Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book David Dalton - The Rolling Stones	186 pages tell a in-depth story from old interviews, reviews articles etc. A small section of B&W photos appear in the middle, but mostly from around 1968/69, though the story is up until 1974.

Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book Jon Savage - The Kinks	Images up-loaded of a really good book on the band - well, you can't be too disappointed with a book by Savage. 176 B&W pages tell a very good story from their north London beginnings up until the book date - it's all there. Lots of good photos and a detailed discography too.
Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book Various Authors - Yardbirds	Images added of what at the time was the much awaited book on the group. 160 pages tell their story enthusiastically with help from 2 band members. Lots of great photos, all in B&W, bearing in mind guitarist Chris Dreja is an accomplished photographer.
Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book Brian Johns - Entranced The Siouxsie & The Banshees Story	Images uploaded of what I believe to be the first official book on the band, As with most books of this time, the photos are in B&W. The text is somewhat thin on in-depth detail, but it tells most of what you'd want to know. It's only 96 pages, so kinda looks like one of those rush stocking filler type books of the latest pop group. The Publisher wanted to use a photo I'd taken of Siouxsie for a half page as they really liked it and asked for the neg. When they saw it their faces dropped... it was the small 110mm film - they wanted to use only 35mm. Never mind... I got a free copy of the book!
