Problem Child 13th Nov 2015		Book Brian Johns - Entranced The Siouxsie & The Banshees Story	Images uploaded of what I believe to be the first official book on the band, As with most books of this time, the photos are in B&W. The text is somewhat thin on in-depth detail, but it tells most of what you'd want to know. It's only 96 pages, so kinda looks like one of those rush stocking filler type books of the latest pop group. The Publisher wanted to use a photo I'd taken of Siouxsie for a half page as they really liked it and asked for the neg. When they saw it their faces dropped... it was the small 110mm film - they wanted to use only 35mm. Never mind... I got a free copy of the book!

Problem Child 12th Nov 2015		Book Ray Stevenson - Photo Past 1966-1986	Images added. Despite the colour cover all the photos are in black and white. A little disappointing but B&W can be a good artistic study. Lots of well known, rare and unusual photos from the photographers collection and some amusing comments from him too.

This book is a compilation of the Slade Fan Club letters, including record reviews, lyrics and photos and letters from fans. Commencing July/August 1971, it ends Feb/March 1976. This was sold at the Rainbow Theatre, North London in April 1977 and presumably on their tour at the time.
Problem Child 12th Nov 2015		Book Caroline Coon - 1988: The New Wave Punk Rock Explosion	Book and cover images added. I bought this in December '77, I think it was published about November, though I can't be sure. Info goes up until September. A great insight from people who were there, with some fab photos. All photos are black and white to great dramatic effect, but nowadays maybe colour would be preferred to make it more visually exciting.

Problem Child 12th Nov 2015		Book John Delaney - The UK 45 RPM Sleeves	Just got down from the loft and getting my scanner out and set up to add my own book, as I'm sure it wasn't here the other day... but kab2112 has beat me to it! Still, back cover now added and A5 promo flyer added which explains and shows what you get inside. Publication date was 17/6/13. A second and updated edition is planned but I don't when yet. One or two 45cat contributors may be contacted regarding sleeves and label info when the time comes...! Cheers, John

Problem Child 5th Aug 2015		78 RPM Miss Margaret Cooper - Hullo, Tu Tu	No problem xiphophilos. It became the oldest record in my collection by 20 years! My knowledge of 1909 music is a bit limited... but I would say this is a bit of a novelty record? It just goes on and on... fortunately it's not too badly scratched. The etching is actually 6 1/2 inches across.

Assisted by other musicians Shaun Barker, Robert Berry, Poppy Clark, Faber Cunningham, Charlie Harris, Robert Potter and James Thorpe. Also, Richard Studt and Bob Bruce.

Problem Child 20th Nov 2014		78 RPM Little Richard - Long Tall Sally / Tutti Frutti	I have a slightly different version to the ones here, but I'm not gonna risk scanning it as it sits too high on my scanner and I'm definitely not going to apply a little pressure to get it closer to the glass... I've found there's not much flexibility with 78's! My copy is near mint... LTS is like make1968's 443971 copy with ;- 'N.C.B. Southern Music' in one line with the small matrix number is upside down in brackets below it. Tutti Frutti is the same as VinylSid's 441444 copy.

Problem Child 8th Nov 2014		Vinyl Album Jean-Louis Aubert - Chante Houellebecq Les Parages Du Vide	Info added. Michel Houellebecq is a poet. I don't know what happened but I'm sure I put the number in correct but its come out different?! It should be:- 0825646311781. Two singles have been released;- A2 - 17/3/14 and A5 - 13/6/14. J-L A has released many solo LP's since Telephone split in 1986, though not all the most recent have been on vinyl. This LP reached No. 2 and went platinum in October.
Problem Child 7th Nov 2014		Vinyl Album Paul McCartney - New	Just noticed after having this almost a year, that it is not on here. Will try and scan one day. Not really sure of label name. It's a plain white label with his name and the song titles only and various numbers in the dead wax. Released 14th October (Not November as I mistakenly put) in the UK and 15th October in the US. I think the Vinyl followed a little later in November.
