Quad5point1 8th Jun 2015 | | DVDTombstone - Entertainment In Video | Have to agree with you on that one. Westerns are not my favourite genre but this movie is superb. All the actors were well picked for the roles. I thought Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday was amazing. It still makes it's way to my DVD player every now and then.

Quad5point1 4th Jun 2015 | | Vinyl AlbumFocus - Focus 3 | They like to Yodel a lot. Focus III was the last time I heard them on vinyl and gave up on them shortly after that.

Quad5point1 1st Jun 2015 | | Blu-rayThe Medusa Touch - Network | I haven't been able to watch this disc the whole way through yet as I just can't separate the French detective in it from Inspector Clouseau. Peter Sellers has a lot to answer for.
Quad5point1 1st Jun 2015 | | Blu-rayContact - Warner Bros. | For me personally this movie was one that promised much and delivered little. I think one viewing will be enough
Quad5point1 1st Jun 2015 | | DVD Box SetTales From The Shipyard - BFI | I'm very into social history, especially when it involves Belfast. I think I've bought most of the BFI DVD's so there will be more to come.

Quad5point1 1st Jun 2015 | | DVDKenny Everett : The Complete Naughty Bits - Fremantle Media | Just loved this guy. In my opinion this is his best TV work when he was with Thames TV. Forget the BBC stuff, this is a 120 minute goldmine of whacky comedy at it's best. It's about time the "Complete" episodes were released.
Quad5point1 31st May 2015 | | Vinyl AlbumLindisfarne - Nicely Out Of Tune | See what you've been missing ;-). If you haven't got it already, try Alan Hulls 1st solo album Pipedream. It's every bit as good as this

Quad5point1 31st May 2015 | | Blu-rayZodiac : Directors Cut - Warner Home Video | There are some movies out there that make me feel very uneasy, this is one of them. More suited to the genre of documentary rather than "Entertainment". I've had this a few years now and believe it or not I've still never got to the end of it.
Quad5point1 31st May 2015 | | Blu-rayPaul Carrack - Live In 3D | Only 3 songs on it but it is nice to have anyway.

Quad5point1 29th May 2015 | | Blu-rayTitanic [1953] - 20th Century Fox | Another of his movies I love is Sitting Pretty with Maureen O'Hara & Robert Young. Unfortunately only available as a download from Amazon. It annoys me that I don't have a physical copy on my shelf
Quad5point1 29th May 2015 | | Blu-rayTitanic [1953] - 20th Century Fox | And speaking of Clifton Webb ( Who I think was a bit of a genius) he even managed to lift this movie somewhat
Quad5point1 29th May 2015 | | DVD Box SetDream On - Universal | This has to be one of the funniest sitcoms to ever cross the pond. Used to show late night Channel 4 so that should give you an idea of the general content ;-)). Everybody in it was superb. Especially loved his secretary Toby who was like Terrier on steroids. David Bowie even did 2 episodes. Only 2 seasons available at the moment, the sooner they release the rest of them the better
Quad5point1 29th May 2015 | | DVDThe Good Life Complete Collection - Acorn Media | It's got Felicity Kendal in it. Nuff Said

Quad5point1 28th May 2015 | | Blu-rayThe Bishop's Wife - Warner Home Video | While It's A Wonderful Life is a great movie (especially the restored colour version) Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without this film. It's simply magic. If you've never seen it then check it out. David Niven and Cary Grant are excellent in this movie. The disc BTW really isn't black that's just the way it scanned. It's a gold colour with red print
