Quad5point1 20th Mar 2021		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Electric Muse: The Story Of Folk Into Rock	Taking it into perspective, £7.50 was quite a bit of money back in 1975. I was unemployed in 1975 and I think the unemployment benefit rate was about £20 or £25 per week. That was also bolstered with Supplementary Benefit if you were married with children + Child Benefit. Petrol was about 85p per gallon but with the oil crisis petrol was no longer sold in gallons but in litres. I got a job in 1976 that paid (as far as I remember) about £65 per month, and being married + 2 kids + running a house and car, it wasn't easy.

I found out at long last where my disc originated from the entry over on DISCOGS. Their listing doesn't have a date and I haven't entered one here either but I know I purchased this sometime around 1985/86, it was at a time when good Rock CD's were few and far between and there wasn't a lot of choice available to fans of Prog Rock and I remember seeing this and pouncing on it. I have always wondered why mine had the Cat# CD 3229 while any other copy I found online had the Cat# CDA 3229. The fact that the disc is Silvered up to the Spindle hole and it has a Cat# printed on the inside of the CD Tray Insert points to this being a very early pressing. Disc has Made in West Germany and Insert has Printed in West Germany
