Syd Vliet 23rd May 2014		CD Album Neu! - Neu! 2	This may be an unofficial release of the 1973 German LP, though I did buy it in a High Street record shop.
Syd Vliet 22nd May 2014		CD Album John And Yoko / Plastic Ono Band - Some Time In New York City	Added the 16 page booklet. Bought this on the same day "The White Album" and "Yellow Submarine" were released on CD (24th August 1987), so it was an expensive lunch-time trip to HMV.

Syd Vliet 21st May 2014		CD Album John Lennon - Live In New York City	Added booklet and disc scans. This is another one that needs changing to a Europe or International release.
Syd Vliet 18th May 2014		CD Album John Lennon - Imagine	I don't know if the UK number appeared on copies sold across Europe, but the UK cat number is in smaller print below the main one, which was used for Europe. So going by what was discussed on the JL/POB disc entry (and others), it probably should be changed as the UK reference would be a relatively insignificant variation and the mods apparently don't want to encourage multiple entries for what is basically the same release.
Syd Vliet 18th May 2014		CD Album Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II	Added booklet scans as well as the back which is a slight variation to the one already uploaded (no WE835 number in the bottom right corner). I bought this in December 1987 to replace a well worn vinyl copy I'd been given two years earlier, the quiet bit towards the end of "Thank You" was completely buried under surface noise, to the point where I thought it had been faded out completely, so it was nice to hear it properly for the first time on CD.

Syd Vliet 17th May 2014		CD Album John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band - John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band	Added the 8 page booklet. This was the last of Lennon's studio albums to be released on CD, it was said to have been delayed by almost a year due to problems with the sound quality of the master tapes.

Syd Vliet 17th May 2014		CD Album Various Artists - Woodstock	Odd packaging for a double CD. Both of the tray inlays had track details (no cover picture) but they were housed in two single jewel cases taped together, the front one with the six page folded booklet, the other with nothing.

Syd Vliet 16th May 2014		CD Album The Beatles - The Early Tapes Of The Beatles	So GEMSMFAN's disc needs to be changed to 1985. I think I do remember seeing that one actually, alongside some of the Japanese imports in the days before any official Beatles discs were released by EMI. Added a scan of the disc.
Syd Vliet 16th May 2014		CD Album The Beatles - First	The version with this cover must have been issued early 1985. "The Beatles Ultimate Recording Guide" book says December 1984, but if it has Billy Harry's sleeve notes (as my 1987 CD does) then it will be a touch later as he signs off "Bill Harry, January 1985". Presumably it was re-packaged with the Pete Best photo in 1987 specifically for Polydor's "Special Price" CD campaign.
Syd Vliet 16th May 2014		CD Album Cream - Goodbye	Added disc and booklet scans. This was another Polydor/RSO CD in the 1987 "Special Price" range with a promotional flap stapled to the booklet, which I didn't keep.
Syd Vliet 16th May 2014		CD Album The Beatles - The Early Tapes Of The Beatles	100% certain this was released in 1987 with this design. I bought it on 14th August 1987.
Syd Vliet 15th May 2014		CD Album Bob Dylan - Bringing It All Back Home	This album was apparently released on CD under the title "Subterranean Homesick Blues" in Europe in 1989. Then it came out on CD under its' proper title in the US in 1990. My copy was made in Austria, bought in 1996.
Syd Vliet 15th May 2014		CD Album Verve - A Storm In Heaven	They were, but if other CD's are added by 'The Verve' they wouldn't show up together if I entered this one as just 'Verve' (unless the mods do something about it). I've had that problem with other entries already, "Velvet Underground and Nico" not being listed with the other CD's by "The Velvet Underground". So, as they're generally known as "The Verve" I thought I'd go with that.
Syd Vliet 14th May 2014		CD Album Pink Floyd - Relics	Added disc and booklet scans. I haven't included pages 2 & 3 of the booklet as they were completely blank! I don't think there was a European or American release of this album on CD in the 1980's, so for a number of years this imported Australian disc was the only way to acquire some of Pink Floyd's early singles, including the classics "Arnold Layne" and "See Emily Play". A great pity it didn't include "Candy and a Current Bun" rather than "Bike" (which was on the "Piper At the Gates of Dawn" album).

Syd Vliet 12th May 2014		CD Album John Lennon - Imagine John Lennon (Music From The Motion Picture)	It does have a couple of tracks that I don't think have appeared anywhere else since (officially): "Real Love" (Acoustic Guitar Demo Take 6 of 7) and "Imagine (Rehearsal)".
Syd Vliet 12th May 2014		CD Album The Plastic Ono Band - Live Peace In Toronto 1969	Added back cover and disc scans. This is a re-mix. The original vinyl mix has never been issued on CD.
Syd Vliet 11th May 2014		CD Album Fleetwood Mac - Greatest Hits Live	Recorded live in Boston, MA, 5th-7th February 1970. Poor packaging - A single sheet cover with just the standard disc care info on the back. They also used an early pic of Mac before Danny Kirwan joined, who is fairly prominent on the disc itself.

Syd Vliet 10th May 2014		CD Album John And Yoko / Plastic Ono Band - Some Time In New York City	Although Frank Zappa is given a co-writing credit in the booklet for "Scumbag", he isn't credited for "Jamrag" despite the core of that track being a straightforward run through of his composition "King Kong" with Yoko adding free-form vocals. This oversight, which had appeared on the original LP, was not corrected for the 2010 remaster either. Something I'd forgotten about when typing in the details, so I 'wrongly' added Zappa's name to it.
