TheDroid 26th Nov 2023		Live Music Bachman-Turner Overdrive @ The Magnolia	In the summer of 2023 Randy Bachman announced he was resuming Bachman-Turner Overdrive in honor of the bands 50th anniversary. Fred (C. F.) Turner would not be on the tour, nor was Blair Thornton, both due to health issues. Turner did say that he would probably participate in any new BTO album and both ex-members gave Randy Bachman their blessing. Bachman filled in the band with his son, Tal, and three members that had played extensively with Bachman & Turner, as well as backing Randy up over the past several years. This show was the final concert of six scheduled as a test to see how the band was received and how performances went. Due to very strong crowd reaction and ticket sales, an additional seven shows have been scheduled beginning in mid-January 2024.

This issue also has alternate covers with Jethro Tull, Elvis Presley and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons in addition to The Kinks and The Damned. Starting with this issue, Goldmine will be publishing quarterly, which is quite a disappointment after all these years.
