Been collecting music, especially 45's, since I was a wee lad in Minnesota due to the influence of my older brother. Grew up in San Diego and was minority partner in the legendary Scratching The Surface Records shop in S.D. Also lived in the Bay Area for over twenty years. I have a wide variety of musical interests as evidenced by my collection. At this point, all images and additions are from my personal collection.
Images #1020657 and # 1020658 are actually for the eleven track issue, missing track B6 "It Happened Just That Way". That track is mislabeled as "It Just Happened That Way" on listing.
Thanks for that info chrisb. Seven of these eleven tracks were released on the Wooden Head LP released in September 1970, although perhaps not in mono.
annaloog: For what it's worth, according to Wikipedia "By the end of the Chicago Transit Authority sessions, the band had decided they wanted it to be a double album. Skeptical, as the band had no track record, Columbia agreed to the concept only if the group would take a royalty cut.".
They were quite productive, as in addition to the album, at least six other songs were done during the sessions including "Wake Up Sunshine".
