Tylerl 15th Dec 2021		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Hey Jude	Hi. Added another set of later Rainbow labels. Notice the inner and outer rings cut into the vinyl under the labels. Also the labels are quite shiny, not matte flat like all the privious labels in orange, purple, rainbow!! Beatle Lew.

Tylerl 29th Aug 2021		Vinyl Album Lenny Bruce - The Best Of Lenny Bruce	Hi. Interesting find on CCRs Fantasy label. The Brown labels started about 1972 with CCR last album Mardi Gras. It looks like Fantasy issued about 10-12 Lenny Bruce albums. I did not know he and Fantasy went back to the 50s!! He was the first over the top intellectual comic that I can recall, an early version of George Carlin! Added old ‘59 Fantasy label for those interested. Pretty cool! Beatle Lew.
Tylerl 27th Aug 2021		Vinyl Album The Beatles - 1	Hi. Just added alternate Front and Back covers. Note the front sticker. Note no UPC box on back cover (very unusual). The picture discs are the normal first 4 images shown. I have not seen the inside. It is still sealed, (except the opening). That’s how I received it. No indicator of country of origin!! Also added an included B/W Songlist from inside the opening!! Not sure of its inclusion in other “One” versions. Anyone?? Beatle Lew.
Tylerl 25th Aug 2021		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour	Hi. These are tricky. Just added 1987 Rainbow label SMAL2835 final edition, before 1988 Purple with new issue number. Note this has labels without “STEREO” indicator. Song titles match font from other pressings for all 1987 US editions of UK album format of Please Please Me through Revolver. No inner 24 page comic booklet inside this one. Purple stripe on front cover. Beatle Lew.

Must be rarer. Looks like this was only issued one time, on vinyl, 1999. No other vinyl reissues known. Anyone?? Note: added rare one-off Red vinyl copy on sale on eBay this week ($5000+). Tylerl 20th Jul 2021		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Please Please Me	Hi. I was looking to sell my sealed copy and trying to find its issue date and value. I think this is it. I spotted the Canada version first. Notice the EMI logo in lower right back cover, and the sale code number on back cover upper right. So this is the first US made copy of the Please Please Me UK album, Mono!! I bought them all and kept them all sealed thinking someday they would be worth more. Guessing they have Capitol Rainbow labels?? Like Canada 1987!! Anyone?? Beatle Lew.
Tylerl 12th Jul 2021		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Songs And Pictures Of The Fabulous Beatles / Introducing The Beatles	Hi. Just happened to see and buy this on eBay. My surprise is Side 1 has no Anna in the 3rd spot, but instead has Please Please Me and From Me To You!! No one mentions it but From me to you was on no other Beatles LP in the 60s (not counting Frank Ifield / Beatles VJ LP conglomeration). How did this get made. It’s not a stolen mother or pressing. No other VJ album has the seven track format. And why not a 7th song on Side 2 (Thank You Girl)!! So it’s not a counterfeit redo of any other album cover or vinyl. It’s a new version of a similar album from the 60s. But it’s not really a redo of any other VJ LP. It’s got unique album sleeve and vinyl and labels!! It’s so very cool to have any Beatles LP that plays FROM ME TO YOU!!! Beatle Lew.

Tylerl 15th Jun 2021		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Rare Beatles: The Beatles On Air	Hi. Different mixes than Apple BBC releases are likely due to there being multiple BBC recordings of most of these songs, essentially taken from Beatles at the BEEB tapes of some 200 recordings of 88 total songs! I only see 5 of these 17 songs that were broadcast only once. The others twice or more! This LP is a nice alternate to Yellow Matter Custard, and others!! Beatle Lew.

Tylerl 6th Apr 2021		Vinyl Album The Beatles - The Original Greatest Hits	Hi. I got a couple copies of this around Christmas. Various prices and conditions out there. Originally in 1964-65 I saw this and bypassed it presuming it was a collection of “beetle” remakes. Eventually, my real surprise was discovering that Love me do was the 1962 Ringo on drums version. Released on this LP in mid 60s. It’s not on LP worldwide anywhere else till 1980 US Rarities LP!! And not on any US single, any label till 1992 Capitol Cema reissue!! Any other releases on LP anywhere?? Anyone?? There has to be a Canada connection somehow, all 12 songs were released in Canada on Capitol swirl labels in 1963-64!! Beatle Lew.

Only true Stereo on 45 of Rich man is from Germany 1976 Come back and later series. Green labels. Superb. Beatle Lew.
Tylerl 25th Mar 2020		78 RPM The Beatles - I Saw Her Standing There / Twist And Shout	Hi. EMI versions from 1963 or Hamburg live versions from 1962?? Hamburg I think. Run times on Standing There is 2:50 and Twist and shout was 2:32 on most EMI studio singles. These Prime versions show much shorter times. Beatle Lew.

I suspect this is Ringo on drums early version from October ‘62, not the ‘63 version from the LP with Andy White on drums (a bit faster too). The Philippines 78 Love me do is surely the Andy White ‘63 version, paired with It wont be long issued in 1964. Beatle Lew.

There are images of 4 later 78s, PAL60283, 60283, 60284, 60287, all confirmed. The preceding numbers probably exist in small numbers. Let’s give it time. I’m constantly finding unknown Beatles singles from Venezuela, Pakistan, etc. I had not heard about. Beatle Lew.

Probably indicators of A and Bs. If I fell came earlier on the LP (3rd song) and would have a lower number than And I love her (song 5). Beatle Lew.

The series is still being processed about 2-3 books per year. Alphabetically by country. The series still has half to go. Their earlier 4 books on Europe Singles, Europe EPs, Worldwide Singles, and Worldwide EPs are outstanding references. Tylerl 1st Apr 2019		78 RPM The Beatles - Ticket To Ride / Yes It Is	Hi. By the time of this release, spring 1965, only India was releasing 78s and no longer doing so in the Philippines. India continued 78 releases into late 1968. Possibly Including While my guitar gently weeps!! Expensive collectibles. There are at least 34 India Beatles Parlophone singles on 45. Perhaps the same number on 78. Imagine having that whole set!! Beatle Lew.
