| | Hi. Added another set of later Rainbow labels. Notice the inner and outer rings cut into the vinyl under the labels. Also the labels are quite shiny, not matte flat like all the privious labels in orange, purple, rainbow!! Beatle Lew. |

| | Don't read too deeply into the Mfd. by Capitol/Apple perimeter print...with the exception of John and Yoko's Two Virgins (Tetragrammaton) and The Beatles Let It Be (United Artists but pressed by Capitol!) Lp's...ALL 1968 - 1975 US Apple releases were distributed through Capitol....(though some were pressed through outside sources...) John |

| | I see your point, as the Apple labels manufactured by Capitol were part of a reissue program initiated in 1971. Perhaps they should have an entry of their own? They clearly don't belong on the same entry with the Capitol label. There are other examples of this on the Apple records entries on the site (White album; Yellow Submarine). Maybe a Mod can clarify? |

| | No argument from me there. Just look at the closeup shots. "Mfg. by Capitol Records,Inc". "A Subsidiary of Capitol Industries Inc". Apple is not listed on the label....anywhere. We are talking about a Capitol product.....not an Apple product. The album you referred me to, SW-385, was manufactured by Apple. (It says so on the bottom of the label) |

| | Apple Records did not press their own releases. In the U.S. the were usually pressed at a Capitol facility, as they were distributed by Capitol. |

| | Yes, I can see that Droid, but my record was pressed by Capitol, not Apple, at The Capitol Records pressing plant in Jacksonville, Illinois. I try to be careful. |

| | Vocalion: This album is already on the site here SW-385. Note that the label listed here is for Capitol, not Apple. Some artists, The Beatles in particular, have several different packagings that are represented on 45Worlds so you need to be careful when entering. |

| | After further research, I have found out that my album was released in 1971. So I think that this page is not the proper place to display it because the release date for this version, as pictured at the top photo, was 1976. Just sayin'. So I was very close to the fact about when I bought this album, and I find that I was on the earlier side of my estimation. |

| | added front cover from my album, APPLE SW-385. (notice there is no round seal type thingy on left pillar just over Lennon's head, unlike the front cover photo on the top of this page). "Gold Record Award" |

| | I bought this album between 1970 and 1976, (I forget exactly when), new, and factory wrapped from Peaches Records in Michigan. To me, it looks like a marriage between an Apple Records cover jacket, and a Capitol manufactured/marked record with the Apple logo. Catalog # on jacket is "APPLE SW-385". |
