walk2013 SUBS 25th Apr 2023		Vinyl Album The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night	The issue dates to this LP and its mono equivalent do not seem right. July 10 is when they were released in the UK. July 11 issue of BB reports that within four days after the release already a million copies had been sold. UA had made that statement on July 1. Therefore the issue date given on wikipedia (June 26) appears to be correct. Beatle buffs to the front!

From Whyperion: I think there are two considerations here. Should the Melody Cards 78s be move to 78world (which did not exist when most items were created ), following the likes of 'little golden' To some extent say 78 to someone and they tend to think of the 10in Disc - with perhaps the 12in and smaller Eclipse / Broadcast smaller diameter (8in?) ones if pushed on memory. The 7in 78 almost came in at about the same time (says he with assertation with no facts) as the 45 7in generally appeared. Aimed often at the 'Kiddie' Market which often used 78clockwork or battery mechanisms in 'toy' plastic boxes reproducers, they also had the advantage, at least until 33/45 single play decks came in during the 1970s, of all three/four speed decks being common in Europe/UK etc from the 1950s onwards , so they could be played on dad's record player too. I suspect actually few got over played or played at all. To me , being of the size, they all mentally fit better in 45cat rather than 78world. Second point is the page of greeting from (the uploader) Col Wolfe is that from the date of purchase or a later photoshop virtual or printed image that is not really part of the purchaseable package? From TheJudge: Basically because we have a 78s section on Worlds for all 78s. There are - as with a lot of things in life - some minor exceptions, such as this one, where it wouldn't make much sense to keep it apart (although we have it in 78 worlds as well). From chopper52: Maybe I don't remember well all 45cat rules, so I'm just asking : if we accept 7"s playing at 33, why shouldn't we accept a 7" playing at 78 ? The announcement was unintelligable, and shazam didn't find it, too, probably because of the distortion. It is a high voice in the style of young Michael Jackson, singing "Help Wanted" on his search for a hard-to-find girl. He wanted to put an ad in the paper "Extra Extra Read all About It". It's not the (later) Ralph Carter track with that title. Neither is it "Help Wanted" by The Volcanos. Edit: Meanwhile identified by a kind and helpful member.
