wordnwot 9th Dec 2013		Vinyl Album Kaleidoscope - Faintly Blowing	Highly regarded by fontana company wigs, full colour glossy gatefold album sleeve design was lavished on this release and for good reason since the content is exquisite. Alas to no avail, for Kaleidoscope, yet again the gods of justice and success were looking the other way and it sunk the same way as the other releases had. The world was changing towards noisier more punchy bands that were delivering progressive, seat of the pants, riff crunchers that was catching the imagination of the album buying youngsters. Psychedelicate folky tunes were on the wain. Judging by its rarity, this album sold perhaps a few thousand top whack! The music quality coupled with scarcity continues to make this very desirable to vinyl collectors.
