OK 8261 - This is the first record issued under Armstrong's name. An image of a 1-sided OKeh test of the B-side was published by Jas Obrecht in Victrola & 78 Journal 4 p.15 (all 13 nrs of this 1990s magazine are on archive). Late 2005 the record was auctioned by Obrecht and I saved his scan and description. As the information is not elsewhere available, I have added it here. - Remarkable that all reissues of this OK are dubs (as shown in Rust).

OK 8641 - labels added: #1 orig. black label (long reg. legend below OK logo); #2 same, but red label; #3 black with short reg. legend (only A-side available); #4 red with license statement at 10 (A-side, mediocre image). - Good images of both sides of type #4 are on discogs. Apparently type #3 is rare. Type #2 is odd here, as the red label of this type is used in the 8000 series for OK 8589-8611, and with 8612 the black label starts. So probably remaining red label stock was used here (and I have seen no other use of this type in this series after 8611)..

A-side and B-side label images added from an earlier pressing
