The black and white Nipper version is a post-ww2 repress with purchase tax code ST (in force April 10, 1946 - November 12, 1947). The shorter text in the lower margin, only “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.”, was introduced in In May 1946.

This E.G. export version, as far as I know, was not only exported to Sweden, but to the Benelux countries, all of Scandinavia, and Switzerland. That's why we list these export issues usually under the country of origin, the U.K.

With the occupation of Denmark and Norway in May 1940, these countries no longer could have their records pressed at Hayes. Instead, they were pressed by The Carl Lindström firm in Berlin. Sweden also had difficulties keeping contact with the mother firm, so Swedish issues were pressed locally. See Concert Record Grammophone biog

HMV EG-6786 - The added labels are not from UK, as indicated by "Manufactured for ..." in the bottom legend, and as is evident from the round serif font used for the titles. I assume it is Swedish HMV (maybe the upper rim legend will make this clear).

Added label variant. No dots in the cat#. Matr# on other place. Red dog, more rimtext at bottom & no sign of any tax code.
