Release date should be July 1947 based on listing in 'The Billboard', August 9, 1947, Page 30, 'Records Most-Played on the Air', and listing 'Position' for the past 2 weeks, plus 'Weeks to date' is 3.

@mat5an: Blues Records 1943-1970 Vol. 2 gives 1945 as recording date for both songs; in the discography of CLASSICS 5119 (Julia Lee 1927 -1946 recordings) is the date 16th and 18th August 1945 for the songs listed.

Mer 8013 - images added of 1st and 2nd Mercury edition (original 1945 issue on Premier, with sides in reversed order). The Mercury ad in Billboard lists the titles still in the original sequence, but on labels Lotus Blossom is side A. - Music (with label images) is on archive.
