The Larks. In fact, on the very same day, October 5, 1950, the soon-to-be Five Larks recorded seventeen different masters for four different record companies (Jubilee, Regal, Savoy/Regent, and Apollo) using four different names! These two sides by The Four Barons were amongst them, and were the earliest secular titles released by The Larks. By the way, the group on that day was a sextet, not a quartet...
