gregs45s SUBS 12th Mar 2014		78 RPM The Lyrian Singers - We'll Keep A Welcome / There's A Light Burning Brightly For Me (1949)	This may be worth further investigation,if you check out the Wikipedia link to Idloes Owen and then onto Tom Jones,it definitely states that "The" Tom Jones was narrator.The date of this particular record is hard to pin down(anybody know?),it could be 1948 or 1949,according to various searches,in which case Tom would have been 8 or 9,but bear in mind this is narration and not singing,therefore could it not be possible that this was his first apperance on vinyl? PS I have no way of listening to the record,nor can i find a recording on You Tube,and as such,i don't know to what extent the narration takes on. PPS Bear with me ,i could be barking up the wrong tree (or just barking:)
