Joehilllouis 25th Mar 2013		78 RPM Robert Johnson - Hell Hound On My Trail / From Four Until Late (1937)	Robert Johnson on the Dime store label "Perfect" Also released on Romeo 7-09-56 400 copies were pressed of Perfect 7-09-56 and 75 copies were pressed of Romeo 7-09-56. There is no reference to a Vocalion co-issue on this particular release copy notice. The release date is given as August 1st 1937.

Joehilllouis 29th Jan 2013		78 RPM Elmo James - Dust My Broom / Catfish Blues (1951)	Well known Robert Johnson riff electrified by Elmore James in 1951 Played by 15423 bar bands since, B side by Bobo Thomas though not named on the record. Catfish blues - Composed by Robert Petway This is the only recording ever made by Bobo Thomas. Legend has it that Lillian McMurtry of Trumpet Records recorded this song by him and then loaned him a guitar and amplifier to take home and practice with in order to come back the next day and record some more. Bobo didn't come back. Stories vary as to whether or not Mrs.McMurtry's equipment was ever recovered, but apparantly Bobo disappeared. The original pressing of the Trumpet 78 has "Dust My Broom" by Elmore James on the other side. Both sides were billed as "Elmo James".
