The words to Let's All Sing Like The Birdies Sing were written by Robert Hargreaves and Stanley J. Damerell, and the music was by Tolchard Evans and Henry B. Tilsley, though Tilsley is not credited on the label.

Say It With A Kiss was recorded on 19 December 1938, and What Is There To Say on 3 December 1940.

"Going Places" is a 1938 film, with a cast including Ronald Reagan and Louis Armstrong. The song was actually cut from the film, but the melody can be heard in the background.

Opus In Pastels was recorded at Radio Recorders studio in Los Angeles on 2 August 1946.

Safranski, recorded at Radio Recorders on 12 July 1946, was originally called Artistry In Bass. Kenton retitled it out of regard for Eddie Safranski's bass playing.

Both sides are with the RCA Victor Orchestra conducted by Ray Sinatra (Frank's second cousin), and both are from the film "The Toast Of New Orleans".

Be My Love was Lanza's first million-seller.
