Ike Turner, Carlson Oliver And Little Ann - Boxtop / Chalypso Love Cry (1958)
Posted this sad day after learning of the death of Tina Turner, RIP, Goddess! Your first record and likely your only appearance on this aged format, on your final day on Earth. Rock And Roll Heaven just got a whole lot more crowded today1

Her first appearance on record. Only on the top side. Also released as a 45.

The Mello-Moods - Where Are You (Now That I Need You) / How Could You? (1951)
This label is part of the Red Robin series. A brief stab at a label name, after which they changed to Red Robin. Then, to make things more confusing, they went back a number for the next release on the label...

Campbell's Blue Notes - See See Rider / Layin' My Racket (1944)
Predates the drawing of Apollo. I would guess 751 and 752, and 351 and 352 all came out at the same time. All later Apollo 78's seem to have had the drawing of Apollo on them.

Chick Morris - Suspense Song / Go To Bed With A Worry
In the absence of further information, based on a listen, this would be late 40's/early 50's, likely before the Music City label was founded nearby.

Art Shelton's Orch. - You Thrill Me So / Dynaflow (1953)
I don't know about that, Mike. According to Lou Silvani (and admittedly, he had both a wrong record number and misspelled the name of the orchestra) - the singers on the record included "Lester Gardner (lead), Lowe Murray (1st tenor), Cecil Holmes (2nd tenor and baritone), and Ron Anderson (bass). All except Gardner became members of the Fi-Tones."

This is more or less backed up by the line-up in Disco-Files 6th Ed.: "Ronald Anderson, Lester Gardner, Cecil Holmes, Marlowe Murray, Leroy Randolph". (All except Gardner listed as members at one point or another of the Fi-Tones). Looks like the only argument would be whether or not Leroy Randolph sang on the record. And checking further, maybe he was only on the "Dynaflow" side - instead of Lester Gardner (who isn't named on that side, just "Caverliers Quartet")

The Feathers - Why Don't You Write Me / Busy As A Bumble Bee (1955)
The B side was replaced on 45 with "Where Did Caledonia Go" by The Five Stars [L.A.]. Unknown whether that version also exists on 78.

This is the first release of the song "Why Don't You Write Me" - The Jacks' version won out with the public, probably at least partially due to stronger promotion from the Biharis.

Hayden Thompson - Love My Baby / One Broken Heart (1957)
Despite the US release of this occurring in September 1957, the numbering on Quality seems to argue for a November Canadian release.
