Ya, the book and record sets are a whole collecting niche unto themselves.

I had the (Little Golden) book of "Doctor Dan The Bandage Man" when I was a kid (back in the 60s) and it came with a "Band-Aid" brand bandage attached...my son had the book in the 90's! (with revised modern artwork)..and still it came with a "Band-Aid" bandage attached...............I guess my future grand-kids will have a "kindle" of this book...with a "Band-Aid" bandage app...........sigh...8-(.............John

George Formby - John Willie, Come On / I Was Always A Willing Young Lad (1926)
I think it's more likely that they assumed that the public knew that Formby Snr. had died some years before. Formby Jnr. apparently did a lot of his old man's material in the early part of his career in order to stop other performers from claiming it for themselves.

David Price, John Edwards - Bugail Aberdyfi / Cartref (1958)
The label design and layout generally is very similar to that of Philips' 78s in the mid/late 50s too.

Rena Military Band - The Birds And The Brook / The Jolly Coppersmith (1909)
Columbia manufactured the discs for Rena, and eventually took them over in 1909 leading to the hybrid label name shown here, then dropped the Rena name completely in 1915.

Gárda Sióchána (Depôt) Band - The Age Of Youth / Barboro March (1930)
Amended artist name to match the label, except that they've put the long accent over the wrong letter (should be 'Síochána', not 'Sióchána').

Duke Ellington - Экспресс (Daybreak Express) / На Юге (Dear Old Southland) (1939)
Given that it was issued by the State-owned label, it's far more likely that ownership was compulsory!
