I had the (Little Golden) book of "Doctor Dan The Bandage Man" when I was a kid (back in the 60s) and it came with a "Band-Aid" brand bandage attached...my son had the book in the 90's! (with revised modern artwork)..and still it came with a "Band-Aid" bandage attached...............I guess my future grand-kids will have a "kindle" of this book...with a "Band-Aid" bandage app...........sigh...8-(.............John

TheJudge 12th Jan 2014 | | 78 RPMGeorge Formby - John Willie, Come On / I Was Always A Willing Young Lad (1926) | I think it's more likely that they assumed that the public knew that Formby Snr. had died some years before. Formby Jnr. apparently did a lot of his old man's material in the early part of his career in order to stop other performers from claiming it for themselves.

TheJudge 5th Jan 2014 | | 78 RPMDavid Price, John Edwards - Bugail Aberdyfi / Cartref (1958) | The label design and layout generally is very similar to that of Philips' 78s in the mid/late 50s too.
