TheJudge 20th Dec 2012 | | 78 RPMGracie Fields And Sandy Powell - Gracie And Sandy At The Coronation Part 1 / Gracie And Sandy At The Coronation Part 2 (1937) | Yes, for many years (having known this disc since I was a wee boy), I thought that the label had been brought into existence solely to issue this record!

TheJudge 16th Dec 2012 | | 78 RPMHoagy Carmichael - My Resistance Is Low / Sacramento (1951) | That might be the case (well, if the rest of you are doing it...).

TheJudge 16th Dec 2012 | | 78 RPMBobbie Comber - Oh, There Ain't Such A Thing As Worry / What Shall We Do With The Midshipmaid? (1933) | But this one (I now realise) is a Broadcast Super Twelve, which is different again, and so needs changing on this entry, as I've added one or two more from that label now.

TheJudge 15th Dec 2012 | | 78 RPMBobbie Comber - Oh, There Ain't Such A Thing As Worry / What Shall We Do With The Midshipmaid? (1933) | Yes. They were called "Twelve" because the way they were cut and the fact that the labels were very small enabled the claim to be made that they could carry as much on them as 12" records.
The downside, of course, was poorer reproduction, especially towards the end of the side.
