I've always gone for 'Super Twelve' because it reads better (i.e. right-to-left). I know Mike Thomas (see previous link) has it the other way round, though.

Or should they be Broadcast Twelve Super ?

Ah-ha. I didn't know whether to include the 'super' bit. Feel free to tweak!

But this one (I now realise) is a Broadcast Super Twelve, which is different again, and so needs changing on this entry, as I've added one or two more from that label now.

Thanks TheJudge. Your comment makes a lot of sense...but the labels on this are full-sized - plot thickens!

Yes. They were called "Twelve" because the way they were cut and the fact that the labels were very small enabled the claim to be made that they could carry as much on them as 12" records.

The downside, of course, was poorer reproduction, especially towards the end of the side.

See Mike Thomas' fascinating site for more info: http://www.mgthomas.co.uk/DanceBands/Labels/LabelPages/Broadcast.htm
