Woody Herman - Woodchoppers Ball / The Golden Wedding (1957)
From my research Festival didn't exist until 1952.
Woody Herman's first LP was "Sequence In Jazz" (Columbia 1949) and "Woodchoppers Ball" is listed as Decca 1955. This was a compilation of earlier recordings (40's) with Decca. There were about 24 tracks put down of which only 4 or 5 were released on 78's in the 40's.
Prior to LP's he had recorded a lot of his classics during the 30's thru 40's on 78's.

Bessie And Ralph Eades With Edgar Pougnault - La Cumparsita / The Rosary
Hi mickey rat, the answer is no - the groove becomes never ending after completion of the music.
I have burnt a copy onto cd and it was played at my mother's funeral.

Bessie And Ralph Eades With Edgar Pougnault - La Cumparsita / The Rosary
I was only a little kid when my parents recorded this, probably very early 50's. I can always remember Mum saying "I played a wrong note there" whenever "The Rosary" was played.
Ralph Eades and Edgar Pougnault played Spanish Guitars (acoustic).
Bessie Eades played a Lap Steel Guitar (electric) built by Ralph.
