| Fokeman 26th Feb 2025 | | 78 RPMPaddy Ryan - The Man That Waters The Workers Beer / Brother, Brother Use Your Head | Paddy Ryan was, indeed, a member of the cast of The Unity Theatre, London. At the time, Alan Bush was also the in-house composer and the founder of Topic Records which was born out of the Workers Music Association. Michael Redgrave and David Kossoff were also members of the theatre. David Kossoff was famous in his own right as an actor and he had two sons, one of whom, Paul Kossoff found fame as a guitarist with Free. A photo of Paddy Ryan with Joan Greenwood Joan Greenwood left Unity Theatre to found Theatre Workshop, where she met Ewan MacColl, actor and songwriter. She was his first wife. |
