Apparently at some point she reached #20.
PS: It's more clear to me now. The book is based on wholesale sales nation-wide. It also references sheet music. There are various errors in it. The website I had found in one city must have been displaying charts contrary to copyright and was shut down.
Do you find her in it at #20?
I've posted a UK chart of some kind that shows this single at #24. Notice some other interesting records. I have no idea what that Telephone Song could be at #15.
It looks like Lonesomest Gal was written in 1912. Recorded by Ella Fitzgerald and Kay in the 1940s. Then Teresa Brewer got the idea to include it in her 1951 Snader telescriptions (TV Videos).
