 Thanks for checking. I now see that I read ")" after Robin as part of a letter.

 Just checked back at the record itself, and against all odds, Robin is well spelled on the label !

 Leo Robin is definitely the correct name. I just can't make out for sure if the label spells his name with two "b" or "bl".

Another thing that confuses me is the recording date. DAHR claims a confusing sequence of recording dates for these matrix numbers:
mx: 148477, recorded May 7, 1929;
mx: 148478, recorded May 9, 1929;
mx: 148479 (Louise), recorded on May 6, 1929;
mx: 148480, recorded May 7, 1929.

Wouldn't the numbers have been used in sequence?

 Wikipedia gives "Robin", mispelled on the label then.

 I have adjusted the credits to what the labels say, but am not sure exactly if Robin's name is misspelled Robbins or Roblin. Could you please check, jmonk?

 Read somwhere (but can't find the info anymore, though I can't invent this) that Publix released only songs from Paramount Pictures movies, and were sold only in theaters, where the correspondant movies were screened. Only a few hundreds were pressed.

That makes Publix Rds unrelated to Publix Super Markets Ltd.
