fixbutte 5th Mar 2015		The Canadian Quality matrix numbers are identical to the original matrix numbers of the US issue on Essex 321. According to Wikipedia it was recorded and released in the USA in April 1953. It may have been released at the end of March 1953 though (it was listed as "sleeper of the week" in Cashbox magazine of May 2, 1953), and an even earlier recording date in 1953 seems likely.
