fixbutte 14th Jun 2017		Another record probably misdated by Marv Goldberg on his otherwise brilliant R&B Notebook pages for The Dominoes: July [1951] saw Federal release two Dominoes' records. The first was "Heart To Heart" with a Little Esther solo ("Lookin' For A Man") on the flip. The other was pure Dominoes: "Weeping Willow Blues" and "I Am With You." The latter made it to #8 (R&B), but it took about four months to enter the charts in the first place. It is true that "I Am With You" made the R&B charts in November 1951 (based on reports for mid-month), but that was only about six weeks after it was released. Both the Cash Box review and the King/Federal ads for this record (see adjusted notes) suggest a release date not before late September.
