Doesn’t seem “unbreakable “ to me but arrived in one piece safely from America !

In later years, there would be an irony to this, as Ms. Clark would be ultimately signed to MGM itself in 1972-73.

Sorry for introducing a tangent here. Our entry for the Sundown Playboy 78 is here.

Promo only for the Apple 78, see Billboard for November 25, 1972. Now, these last few comments should really be moved to somewhere else, as they have nothing to do with Pet's record!

I personally wouldn't miss any of these unverified Beatles discs either, should they get deleted.

Different coupling, though. If there's any evidence the 78 wasn't released, it could be marked as "unreleased". There's Beatles 78s on this site which aren't verified to exist.

Despite the Billboard ad announcing this record on both 45 and 78 rpm, I personally would hesitate to list this record without any more tangible evidence (like a label scan) of its actual release on 78 in the US.

That said, the record did get released on 78 rpm in Australia, on Radiola A224P (scan here).

You do wonder. It could still have existed, but in very small numbers as it wasn't a hit. Shellac is fragile so they could have broken. The early Polygon 78s are incredibly rare but they were pressed even if most don't turn up very often. See this article http://www.goldminemag.com/article/rock-n-roll-78s-are-a-hot-but-sometimes-overlooked-commodity

Wonder if the 78 version ever got pressed. Perhaps they just took orders and there were not enough to warrant. I have both DJ and regular copies of the 45.
