 To be exact, John Tefteller didn't "find" the record himself, nor does he claim to have done so. The finder was "a local picker" in Tennessee who must have realized what he had in his hands and then contacted Tefteller so that Tefteller was able to purchase this record from the actual finder, apparently for a princely sum of close to $37,000.

 As of this writing, label scans of both sides can be seen on John Tefteller's tefteller.com website. Look for them as illustrations of the account of how he found this very rare record. If he ever takes that article down, you might look for the sides among his Museum 78s gallery.
