Notes Recorded December 1928 in Dallas, Texas Phillips’ instrument has been debated for decades but the most recent opinion is that it was a Celestophone and/or a Phonoharp made by the Phonoharp Company in the 1910’s, based on the famous photo of his holding the 2 instruments.
