I started buying 45's in the early 1970's glam era as a kid, then bought punk and alternative LPs in college; worked in record stores in the late '80's and early '90's; started scrounging for 78's in the mid-90's; sadly, sold most of my LPs around 2000 but kept digging for 78's at estate sales & antique stores with emphasis on hillbilly discs; started buying 45's around 2008 & picking up used LPs here & there. Most of the collection is the 'single' format - 78s & 45s. I just joined 45Worlds in 2020 and slowly making a dent in logging the collection.
