xiphophilos 10th Dec 2023		N. E. Perkins is credited as writer of this song in the 1924 Catalog of Copyright Entries, page 1709. Lethia Hill was just as unlucky as Alta Cates in that this remained her only song released on record during her lifetime.
cyeaman SUBS 10th Dec 2023		Does anyone know the origins of the song "Old North State Blues"? I read someplace it was written by Noah Perkins, who was born in North Carolina around 1883, but haven't seen anything else about this song online.
