The composer of Adeste Fideles is Marcos Portugal AKA (Also Known As) Marco Portogallo, who lived from 1762 to 1830. Label image # 1815774 has his name as "Portugallo". The label image in the video has his first name as "Marcas" with "1763-1834" as his lifetime. This is the first time that I have seen dates in the composer brackets.

Based on nearby catalog numbers, an original release date of February 1909 seems likely. Your copy, a Batwing label with VICTOR on the side of Nipper's gramophone, is a 1914-1916 repress.

I did not add the release date as listed in DAHR as Nov. 1908. DAHR lists the recording date as Jan. 15, 1909. This would make the recording date after the release date. Maybe I'm missing something here?
