xiphophilos 27th Aug 2020		The Batwing label with VICTOR on the side of the gramophone in the Nipper logo represents the original release. That label design was used ca. 1914-1916. The second label without price notice on the left of the spindle hole and four patents listed represents a 1918-1923 pressing. Source: M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., pp. 83-84.
