xiphophilos ● 12th Dec 2022		The original is a Fall 1917 to mid-1918 Victor Batwing label with price notice "Price 75¢". The repress shows a mid-1918 to Fall 1923 Victor Batwing label without price notice, listing four patents (1903, 1904, 1905, and 1908) (Source: M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 84). This repress shows that the later label variant must have been introduced around June 1918.
