xiphophilos 21st Oct 2018		Bolig's release date was right, as the Victor ad from 29 Feb. 1920 shows that I've just added to the notes.



slholzer 27th Aug 2017		John Bolig's Victor Black Label Discography 18000/19000 series gives the release date for this disc as March 1920. The ODP list shows the same mx for Side B as Bolig does, but the ODP includes a note which calls the accuracy of that into question. The ODP states that mx B-20842-4 actually belongs to another title, Venetian Love Song. The ODP's recording date for side B is shown as Nov. 2, 1917, while Bolig gives it as Nov. 22, 1917. I don't know whether to put that down to a transcription error or a deliberate change on Steve Abrams' part. Per Bolig, the members of the Florentine Quartet are Howard Rattay-violin, Clement Barone-flute, Alfred Lennartz-cello, and Francis J, Lapitino-harp.
