slholzer 16th Jan 2017		John Bolig's "Victor Black Label Discography 1800-19000 Series" informs us that although the Laughing Rag on Side B is listed as a fox trot, it is in fact a One-Step. It also tells us that Sam Moore is the one playing the octo-chorda (if I'm not mistaken, the octo-chorda is a musical saw) and Horace Davis is playing the harp-guitar. "Laughing Rag"was scheduled to appear on Victor 18846 but that disc, which would have featured Moore and Davis on both sides, was not released. The other side was to have been "Cry Baby Blues." At least to the best of Bolig's knowledge, it was never released.
