Release date corrected according to Bolig's specification which is preferable to the later catalog months generally given on DAHR (ODP).

The oddity of the seemingly wrong sequence of matrix numbers (here and for several other records) can be easily solved: The numbers were allocated when the first takes of both sides were recorded on the same day several weeks before, July 25, 1924, and "Hey! Hey! And Hee! Hee!" apparently before "Sax-O-Phun".

John Bolig's Victor Black Label Discography 18000/19000 Series, gives the exact date of release of this disc as Dec 19, 1924. Interestingly, both Bolig and the ODP indicate that these two tracks are on contiguous mxs, B-30620-5 and B-30621-5, recorded 2 days apart with the lower matrix being made after the higher number.

Per Bolig, the unidentified vocalists on Side B are baritone Vernon Dalhart and tenor Ed Smalle. The International Novelty Orchestra is apparently a pseudonym for a group known as the South Winders, led by Nat Shilkret.
