This discrepancy between the locations is a bit weird. Probably a mistake.
Victor cut 6 other recordings that day, October 22, 1925. Two of them, 7 takes by Federico M. Flores, DAHR reports as having been done in Camden, the other four, a total of 14 takes by The Original Memphis Five and the Orquesta Internacional (= Victor's studio band) in New York.(DAHR). Seems as if the Camden studio was a little less busy than the New York one and could have more easily accommodated all of the 8 takes Prince's Orchestra recorded that day.
The predecessor recordings were both acoustically recorded in New York:
matrix B-243 (takes 8-10) New York, NY, January 16, 1923
and matrix B-355 (takes 7-10), New York, NY, April 10, 1923.
Maybe that's how New York crept in when both should have been Camden?
The info in the notes was taken from DAHR A side, B side.
The recording date of Oct. 22, 1925. With the A side being recorded in Camden, New Jersey and the B side being recorded in New York, New York on the same day. This does not seem probable, but I guess, is possible.
