Bob, I've moved your label scans up because they represent the original release on the last version of the batwing labels, where the text Orthophonic Recording appears to the left of the spindle hole (early to mid-1926). According to M. W. Sherman, this version of the label is associated with only a few cat. nr.s above 20000 and is rare. The highest cat. nr. with this label version discovered so far is 20101.
Trainman's labels are examples of the earliest version of the Scroll label: Victor Talking Machine Co. at the bottom, Orthophonic Recording to the left of the spindle hole, and the catalog number still at the bottom of the label (used between Fall 1926-Spring 1927). This label was only used for something like six months, so must be a bit rare as well. For in spring 1927, Victor moved the catalog number up to the right side of the spindle hole. (Info: M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., pp. 85 and 93).
Blackbird, blackbird singing the blues all day
Right outside of my door
Blackbird, blackbird who do you sit and say
There's no sunshine in store
All through the winter you hung around
Now I begin to feel homeward bound
Blackbird, blackbird gotta be on my way
Where there's sunshine galore
Pack up all my care and woe
Here I go, singing low
Bye bye blackbird
Where somebody waits for me
Sugar's sweet, so is she
Bye bye blackbird
No one here can love and understand me
Oh, what hard luck stories they all hand me
Make my bed and light the light
I'll arrive late tonight
Blackbird, bye bye
Bluebird bluebird calling me far away
I've been longing for you
Bluebird bluebird what do I hear you say
Skies are turning to blue
I'm like a flower that's fading here
Where ev'ry hour is one long tear
Bluebird bluebird this is my lucky day
Now my dreams will come true
Pack up all my care and woe
Here I go, singing low
Bye bye blackbird
Where somebody waits for me
Sugar's sweet, so is she
Bye bye blackbird
No one here can love and understand me
Oh, what hard luck stories they all hand me
Make my bed and light the light
I'll arrive late tonight
Blackbird, bye bye
